That’s not the sunrise you’re seeing, those are the city lights of Las Vegas, Nevada at about 2AM. This single shot, taken at Valley of Fire State Park over 60 miles outside of Vegas, is one of my favorite images. Even light pollution can be beautiful with the right framing and context.
